APRIL GARDNER helps budding Christian writers craft stories with excellence, confidence, and purpose. Using teaching-focused editing, she empowers writers to craft impactful, clean fiction that resonates with readers and inspires a deeper walk with Christ. April is an award-winning author of 20+ books, a certified editor, and the founder of Write Start Fiction Studio. She has a computer nerd husband, two grown children, and two German shepherds. She dreams of learning a fourth language and visiting all the national parks.
Professional Bio
APRIL GARDNER is an award-winning author and the founder of Write Start Fiction Studio. She is certified through UCSD's editing program and holds a BA in English/Creative Writing from UTSA. April is currently enrolled in the Technical Communications graduate program at Texas State University. After a five-year career as a traditionally published author, she went indie and has since published twenty books across five genres under the names April Gardner, April W Gardner, and Eden Rivers. Once an editor with Astraea Press, she is now a freelance editor. One of her favorite aspects of editing is coaching new writers along the way.
