WORKSHOP: CALLED TO WRITE
How to Know if God Is Calling You to Write—and Finally Begin
Clarify the call. Clear the fear. Start the work.
Clarify the call. Clear the fear. Start the work.
Many believers sense a persistent nudge to write—a novel, a memoir, a devotional, a testimony, or a message they cannot seem to shake. Yet that desire is often buried beneath fear, self-doubt, perfectionism, or the belief that writing is reserved for the naturally gifted.
In this faith-based workshop, award-winning author, editor, and book coach April Gardner shares her journey from struggling learner and reluctant reader to published author of twenty-five books and counting. Through biblical teaching, personal testimony, and practical guidance, she helps participants discern whether God may be calling them to write, overcome the fears that often accompany that calling, and take faithful first steps forward.
Drawing from the lives of biblical servants such as Moses, Gideon, and Jeremiah, participants will discover that God has always worked through ordinary people who felt inadequate for the task He placed before them.
Whether you dream of writing fiction, devotionals, Bible studies, memoir, or simply preserving a testimony for future generations, this workshop will help you clarify the call, clear the fear, and start the work.
Participants will leave encouraged, spiritually grounded, and equipped with practical next steps for moving forward in faith and obedience.
